The World's Biggest Omelette. At Surrey Agricultural Show yesterday a team of chefs and volunteers took 5,600 eggs, 112 lb of bacon, 100 lb of onions, 300 pots of mixed peppers, 56 lb of French beans, 9 lb of salt, 2 lb of pepper and 50 pints of oil to produce the world's biggest omelette. It was cooked in a 7 ft by 6 ft frying pan and was then sold in portions to raise money for Oxfam and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute.
