Chrysler Instrument Panel Features Safety
The new 1954 Chrysler instrument panel is smart, convenient and safe. The large, double-dial instrument cluster features a new application of the edge-lighting principle with numerals, pointers and dial graduations glowing brightly against a dark background. Flashing indicator lights warn of low oil pressure or battery current. A soft, foam rubber-base safety pad, covered in pleated vinyl is set off by burnished aluminium insets and recessed knobs.
