A special tape worm...
... with sumptuous things some days ago was the attraction in Marienheide near Cologne (West Germany). It was the largest cold buffet of the world, length: 822 meters! About 20,000 guests could eat and drink as much as they like. and they did - within three hours the buffet was empty.
Built up was the buffet in one night by many cooks, the idea had a hotelier, who surely now will be included in the book of records. There stands till now the buffet of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York with 720 meters as the largest one.
The proceeds of the buffet, the hotelier gave to "Aktion Sorgenkind", a relief organization for handicapped children.
