Live Mink On Parade: Beaver House in the City of London is famed for the variety and number of fine furs which are gathered there throughout the year for sale to marchants from all parts of the world. Today, an unusual feature was introduced in that the furs on shows were alive - Mink, Nutria and Andeen Chinchilla - all bred on farms in Great Britain. Photo shows Mrs. Eileen Boddington, of Romsey, Hants, with "Charlie" a Pastel Mink, believed to be the only tame mink in the country - seen at Beaver House today.

Photo measures 10.25 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated 1-3-1953.
