A hippo on the rug - Some people like to have a dog on the hearth-rug whilst others prefer a cat, but the Cawley family have a hippo, not from choice, but because Mary Chipperfield (of the famous circus family) and her husband Roger Cawley manage the animal section of Longleat, the Wiltshire home of the Marquis of Bath, ESME, the hippo just wanders into the lounge for a quiet nap.
