"Triplet" the Bear Cub Makes Debut: the polar bear cub born tom Sam and Sally at London Zoo oin 28th November, made its debut today. It took its first walk out on the Mappin Terrace with its mother. The new cub has been called "Triplet", in honour of the American astronauts and their walk on the moon (where there are craters called "Doublet' and "Triplet"). Triplet is also the third polar Bear to be successfully reared at London Zoo, The first was the famous "Brumas" maturity in the British Isles, The second Polar Bear to be reared art London Zoo is Triplet's brother 'Pipaluk', who was born to Sam and Sally on Dec. s1st. 1967. Photo Shows "Triplet" crawls out from beneath its mother "Sally" - at the London Zoo today.
