1971 Press Photo Burghokzku psych clinic fire

28 persons die in the Burghokzku psych clinic fire. This ward was a death trap in this ward of the psychiatric clinic Burghaolzli in Zurich 13 inmates were asphyxiated by fumes when fire brake out in the hundred years old institution. The fire itself was quickly extinguished, but 28 persons died asphyxiated in their sleep.
