120 Killed In London Bound Jet Airliner In The Desert Near Cairo: A London-bound jet airliner with 127 people on board crashed in flames in rugged desert country as it approached Cairo airport today. Officials stated stated the 120 people had been killed and the other six were seriously injured. The airliner, a Boeing 720B of Pakistan International Airlines, was inaugurating a new route from Karachi to London via Dharan, Cairo and Geneva. Photo Shows: Rescue workers removing one of the bodies from the wrecked airliner today.
