This fully furnished "Mock up" of the BAC One Eleven (two Rolls Royce Spey turbofans) at Weybridge shows off to advantage the passengers comfort of this 56/69 seater short haul jet, scheduled for airline service in 1964. Noteworthy features of this Viscount successor, designed to offer "big jet comfort" on short routes, are the closely spaced passenger windows (20 inches pitch) and a generous fuselage width at seat elbow level (124 inches). Production of the One Eleven is under way at the Bournemouth, Luton and Weybridge factories of the British Aircraft Corporation for a first flight early in 1963.

Photo measures 10 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated --none.
