Guerini Trial Opens In Paris The Trial of "Meme" Guerini, his brother Pascal, Henri Rossi and Domini ue Poli opened at Paris Court of Assize. Guerini, the Corsican gang leader and his accomplices are charged with the murder of Claude Mandroyan in July 1967 (Claude Mandroyan, a gangster of the 'Small Fry' calibre stole jewels from the widow of Guerini's brother).
