Bank for "women only" - opened in Edinburgh.: Looking more like a club or a restaurant - then a bank - is the bank which opened in Edinburgh yesterday. Is is the first of its kind in Britain - and is for Women only. The atmosphere in the bank is "blissful" - and 'quite subdued'. The carpeting is thick - the lighting is soft - the wallpaper is white and gold. There is background music and free coffee. In spite of this - the rest of the business is just the same as any other bank - it is just as difficult to get a loan - etc.
