"Dick Turpin" Rides Again And Receives A Pint From The Air Hostess: Dick Turpin- impersonated by K.W. Meads "held-up" a stage coach at the Old Magpies Inn - a 13th. Century Public House which was the haunt of the original Dick Turpin - on the Bath Road today. The Inn is to be demolished to make way for a tunnel to London Airport. Photo shows Air Hostess Monica Lemaire who was a passenger on the coach - hands "Dick" Turpin a Pint - at the Old Magpies Inn today.
