Description
Impulse Water Gun destroys rock - An impulse water gun, mounted on a rock drill, is seen here being tested at an experimental factory in the Ukraine/Soviet Union. The appliance throws out 1.2 litres of water each 3 to 4 seconds, which affects rock with immense power, destroying even the most solid stones. During the test, a recess in which a car would have fitted, was cut into a 2 mtrs. Thick case-hardened granite well within two and a half hours. The constructors of the water gun hold that it would not only be of use for mining but also for other economical branches, whenever it is necessary to destroy rock or concrete blocks without blasting.
