Father Christmas Makes Early Appearance: Father Christmas with his reindeer made an early personal appearance today at the Waldorf Hotel, when he attended a "Christmas Party" and display of Christmas decorations and gift ideas, given jointly by Sellstape Products Limited and Aluminium Foils Limited. Photo shows "Father Christmas" - Charles Cox, of Sellstape Products Ltd - thought he'd try the modern method of transport - by attempting to board a bus - in London today - with his reindeer, but didn't succeed.
