Rehearsal for the Coronation Procession. A rehearsal for the coronation procession was held this morning . About 300 troops were used to represent the units taking part. They left Buckingham Palace at 5 am , arriving at Westminster Abbey a little more than half an hour later. The troops wore battledress and no bands were used . The State Coach and a few troops to represent the immediate entourage covered the rest of the route. The object of the rehearsal was to practize the marshalling of the procession. Photo shows the State Coach drawn by eight Windsor Greys comes through Admirelty Arch during the rehearsal this morning.
