COmissioner John D, Needhan Britain's New Salvation Army Leader. The first American ever to head the salvation Army in Britain, is Commissioner John D. Needham, who took command of its one hundred thousand salvationists at the begining of this month. He succeeded commissioner Geoffrey Dalziiel who retired on Dec 31 st 1979.
