Rome, August 1966 â A four day nationwide campaign aimed to make road traffic safer for speedy Italian drivers got under way. The campaign was sponsored by the Minister of Public Works under the âœIf in doubt, donât passâ at the occasions of the big August vacation exodus throughout the country.
