Hanging gardens in the Olympic Village - The decision about the designing of the Olympic Village in Munich was made on the 7th of August 68. The board of directors of the Olympic Building Company has decided in favour of the project of Professor Erwin Heinle from Stuttgart. The about 10,000 sportsmen who will take part in the Olympic Games 1972 in Munich will live in skyscrapers and terrace houses with hanging gardens.
