1966 Press Photo Weather Technician Jose O. Martinez Starts A Camera

Weather Technician Jose O. Martinez at the National Environmental Satellite Center in Suitland, Md., starts camera that will photograph TV-like picture of cloud formations. Signals, transmitted along Bell System microwave route using Western Electric equipment recreate the cloud pictures of the World's weather taken by an orbiting satellite.
