No Crossing Protest: Pram pushing mothers joined in a protest road crossing demonstration in Elmers End Road. Backenham yesterday from 8 a.m. until 9.a.m. they marched to and ~~~ across the busy road, carrying placards and deleting the morning rush hour. drivers. They were protecting against the removal of a Panda crossing which they say has increased the accident rate at this busy point.
