14 INJURED IN RENT CLASH: A thousand policemen last night fought a vicious pitched battle with a 2,000-strong mob trying to storm St. Pancras Town Hall in London. The scene flared after demonstrators outside the two rebel blocks of council flats - Silverdale House and Kinnistoun House - joined forces and marched on the Town Hall in a massive anti-rent increase protest. Photo Shows:- The last of a group of demonstrators perched on a window sill overlooking the battle of St. Pancras is dislodged, protesting loudly. It is a woman in slacks. Police reach out as she drops, then turn to continue the struggle.
