Loyal Demo: A large cross section of the estimated total of 30,000 people who turned out in full force on Wednesday, 11 August, 1982, in Nairobi's Uhuru Park to demonstrate their support for President moi, Kanu, and the government of Kenya after the abortive coup attempt by men of the Kenya Air Force, on August 1982, it included a significant representation of Asians, who were badly hit by the breakout of lawlessness during theshort-lived coup bid.
