Demonstration at the Oval.: West Indian cricketers playing for English countries will be 'pilloried' if they refuse to support calls to stop the South African tour, the West Indian Campaign against Apartheid cricket said yesterday.. The campaign has had only five replies to 30 letters sent to all West Indian and Asian players in Britain urging them to refuse to help the promotion of the tour by publicly declaring they would Sobers and three other coloured players in the Nottinghamshire team was held at the oval today, where Notts play Surrey. Photo shows Peter Hain, the leader of the 'stop the '70's tour' campaign talks to one pf the demonstrators, outside the oval today.
