2,000 cheers for Christmas at home: Cheering, laughing, waving - 2,000 soldiers, including 1,200 Reservists due for release, sailed into Southampton from the Middle East aboard the Empire Orwell yesterday. Photo shows some of the British troops give a rousing cheer as they arrive at Southampton yesterday home in time for Christmas.
