The Battle of Gibraltar - Mock assault on the Rock in 'exercise rock climb'': Spanish planes and warships manoeuvred close to Gibraltar and wathced a 90 minute mock assault on the Rock by marine Commandos. After 90 minutes the Royal Marine Commandos were ''wiped out'' and Exercise Rock climb came to an end.
