60000 men are at military exercise. On February 1st , 1960 started the great German - America NATO-maneuver "Winter shcild". About 60 000 German and American soldiers are taking part in this winter exercise. More than 200 generals and other high officers of the NATO-stats are present. The manoeuvre which is being held in the districts of Bayreuth (Bayreuth) - marktredwitz (Marktedwitz) in the sought of Bavaria and in the district ingolstadt (ingolstadt) - straubing (Straubing) in the south . 10 000 vehicles are also involved in the exercise. phto shows Black and white in combed defence.
