3-6-61 Demonstration by Teachers over pay in London - While leaders of the National Union of Teacher's Executive were talking without teaching an agreement on the latest pay proposals 150 teachers angrily demonstrated outside the N.U.T. Headquarters. They carried banners and shouted slogans urging the executive not to accept the pay proposals worked out earlier by the Burnham Committee.
