Demonstrations in Colombo as Mrs. Bandaranaike leaves for visit to India.: Demonstrators refused to disperse when ordered by police - and lay on the ground at Ratmanala Airport, Colombo -when Mrs. Bandaranaike. thePrime Minister of Ceylon - left the airport for her visit to India - which is to last until January 6th. This follows yesterday's demonstration sin which 2,000 men and women paraded through the streets of Colombo protecting against the take - over of Schools and against the Marxist influence on the Government. They said they were determined to make Buddhists see their point of view and to win their sympathy.
