February 15th 1980 500 British Policemen off to Rhodesia to supervise the elections - A force of 500 British policemen are going out to supervise the Rhodesian Election which take from the 27th of February. Scotland yard will provide 100 of the force. Photo Shows: Three of the Scotland Yard police officers who will fly out to Rhodesia on Feb 24th, picture at the Yard this morning. They are from L-R Supt. Gordon Lloyd, Chief Supt. Michael Rowling, and Insp. Niall Muvihill.
