Jousting - Down In Somerset.. Battle-Royal - With Lances.. Jousting between knights armed with lances and swords will be seen in Britain again soon after 125 years. Seven top point-to-point horsemen will "do battle" at the Elizabethan Montacute House, Yeovil, Somerset on June 27th. It is all part of the ~2,500 one-day sports tournament to be run by the National Trust. Complete with chain main armour - "Knights" were to be seen in training yesterday.
