Annual Royal Engineers Demonstration: For the first time the Annual Royal Engineers Demonstration was held this year at the School of Military Engineering, Chatham. A number of pieces of equipment such as the Heavy and light Assault Floating Bridges were on view for the very first time. Photo shows Assault Engineer Devices demonstrated by the 16 Assault Squadron Royal Engineering, showing a bridge layer going over the bridge which it had previously laid across a gap.
