Rehearsing battle scene for searchlight tattoo.: A rehearsal was held at Aldershot this morning of the battle scene of the White city searchlight tattoo. The scene shows the silencing of the Merville Battery by the coast of France on D-Day. Men in german uniforms took the part of the enemy. Photo shows memebers of the Srd. Battalion parachute right after having made a "Parachut landing" attack a German gun strongpoint during the rehearsal thi morning.
