First Helicopter Carrier To Be Built For French Navy The first helicopter carrier will be built for the French Navy following an order signed by the Marine Minister, M. Anxionnaz. The ship will be used as a school ship in peace time and it can be rapidly converted into a carrier in war time. It will replace the old school ship "Jeanne d'Arc". OPS:- A model of the helicopter carrier (name not yet known).
