Description
Milan: Mussolini action Squadrons spread terror in Milan, first pictures of the destroyed office of the Italian Socialist Party: During the night from January 31 - February 1 , 1973, three new - fascist bombs blasted in three different places in terrorized Milan, One bomb destroyed the office of the Milan section of the Italian Socialist Party in via Borsieri. The explosion was so powerful that the solid door-latch went into pieces. In addition good part of the interior was almost completely destroyed. When local police and state-police (Carabinieri) hurried to the spot, the unidentified malfactors had already successfully escaped. They had left a handwritten message in Italian which says: ''Nobody will ever discover the S.A.M. - The Mussolini action squadrons''. As know, these S.A.M. men are a tiny minority of all right-wing Italian new-fascists. There are many new-fascists who disdain the unlawful activities of the Mussolini action squadrons. Some openly look down on the terrorist. Bu this tiny minority is very dangerous after all and capable of spreading terror wherever they appear to commit acts of violence. In one of these pictures we can clearly recognize the image of Italian socialist Matteotti, who was murdered by Mussolini's executors in 1924.

Photo measures 9.5 x 7 inches.

Photo is dated 01-01-1973.
