14 injured in Rent Clash, A thousand policemen last night fought a vicious pitched battle with a 2,000-strong mob trying to storm St. Pancras Town Hall in London. The scene flared after demonstrators outside the two rebel blocks of council flats - Silverdale House and Kennistou~ House - joined forces and marched on the Town Hall in a massive anti-rent increase protest. Police reach out as she drops the turn to continue the struggle.
