The Battle For Equal Rights. Today has been declared Emmeline Pankhurst Day in memory of the leader of the militant suffragette. The Anti-Discrimination bill comes up in the House of Commons and a meeting was held in Caxton Hall in the same room where Suffragette used to meet. Photo Shows:- At today's meeting at Caxton Hall a room was set aside for children - and here are three of them with placards - whilst the meeting was going on.
