Greece re-enters NATO â The Greek Parliament gave the government the vote of confidence it had requested at the close of a three day debate on the governmentâs decision to re-enter NATOâs military command structure after an absence of six years. The vote climaxed a week of demonstration by Greeks opposed to NATO membership.
