Three Men Set Sail For Pairs In A Four - Post~r Bed: Three men, Tom Welsh, Mike Pilkington, both from Cheshire, and David Speed, from Yorkshire, set sail today in a four-poster bed mounted on an inflatable rubber boat in an attempt to cross the Channel to Calais. The boat has an outboard motor that can power it up to 25 M.P.H. Photo Shows: The sea-going four-poster with its three men crew sets off from the Royal Albert Marina Dock basin in the Thames to cross the Channel to Calais today.
