1972 Press Photo Cars with the "military-look" ... are being sold in Frankfurt

Cars with the "military-look" ... are being sold in Frankfurt now. Two young men from Frankfurt, the garage owner Herbert Mittlander and his associate Roland Lerch sold 40 Jeeps in the past year alone. The clients are mostly young people who are no longer satisfied with merely wearing military style clothes, but consider a surplus Bundeswehr or Army jeep as appropriate by-wear. The demand for the vehicles which cost DM 2000 to 3500 (~ 60- 1100) is greater than the supply.
