Europe's Largest Catamaran Launched: Europe's largest catamaran, the 30-ton ~70,000 vessel, "Tsulamaran", was launched today at C. Prout's shipyard, at Convey Island. The boat was built by Prout's for Mr. Patrick Hall, director of a large engineering company. The vessel would normally driven by sails, but it is also fitted with two 100 h.p. Photo shows Mrs. Joan Prout, wife of one of the builders, Mr. Rowland Prout - breaks a bottle of champagne on the bows of the vessel at today's launching.
