Britain Going Ahead with Maltese Cuts. The British Government is still going ahead with its decision of cuts in British military forces on the Island of Malta - in the mean time the Maltese Government have seized weapons brought into Malta's Grand Harbour, Valetta, by two ships, and impounded them also many vehicles and tons of freight for the British Forces were prevented from landing because the Maltese Government has stopped Duty Free concessions. They are also stopped supplying Petrol to the British Forces on the island. Photo Shows: The "Empire Gullemont" a service vessel which arrived from North Africa with ammunition and trucks and lorries ans was not permitted to land being subject to Duty.
