President Jimmy Carter met today with the members of the house ways and means committee in the state dining room. The president discussed his emer~y legislation which is presently before the committee. In the fore-ground to the presidents right is Rep. Al Ullman (Democrat Of Oregon) who is chairman of the committee and behind the president to his left is secretary of the treasury, W. Michael Blumenthal.
