Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations At Stratford-on-Avon The flags of many nations were unfolded at Stratford-on-Avon to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of William Shakespeare. After the ceremony there was a procession to the house in Henley-street, where Shakespeare was born, and then to his tomb in the Parish Church to lay flowers and wreaths. Photo Shows:- A view of flags of all nations are unfurled during the ceremony at Stratford-on-Avon.
