Jail without fences: In the craft room, a prisoner learns to weave rugs on a loom. It takes 1/2 a day to weave a 62'' x 30'' rug. The girls work 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, and half and Saturday. They receive 15 cents per day, which they can spend in the Institution's canteen for luxuries.
