Back To The Iron Age: Fifteen volunteer castaways, including three children, were at home to the press, yesterday in a replica Iron Age settlement in which they aim to survive for a year in the primitive style of ancient Sritens, Clad in coarsely-woven cloake of animal skins. In the group is the Ainsworth family they are Peter, 30, his wife Lindsey, 29, and their three children, Peter six, Nicholas, four, and Robin,2, they were among the 15 chosen from nearly a 1000 volunteers from all over the world. The project has been devised for a BBC series to be called "Living in the Past" So for the next 12 months they will be cut off from the outside world and the comfort of the 20th century for the Celtiv commune, circa 300 BC. Photo shows Meal time in the Celtic commune at Shafterbury, Dorset yesterday.
