The forecourt attendants (Female, young and pretty) are equipped with roller slates so that they can glide gradually to the meteorite's side to ask what needs doing. The modern thinking behind it all being that, even if it may not save you time ti take your own ear sprat and put it together again, it will almost certainly save you money. photo shows a girl cashier, 18-year-old Marion Smith sits at the panel which used by the eight self service pumps in the forecourt.
