Miners Trapped In Colliery: There were hopes today that the seven flood-trapped miners at the Lofthouse Collinery, near Wakefield, Yorkshire, had found an air pocket and that rescuers would reach them in time. Photo Shows Miners and rescue workers waiting at the pit-head in case they can help in any way.
