Budgerigars As "Exhibits".: When police in Birkenhead had a fraud charge to deal with - which involved nearly three hundred budgerigars - Mr. Sam Thompson a Birkenhead Policeman decided to take the "exhibits" in as Lodgers - he is a bird fancier himself. Here is two year old Sam Thompson Jnr. admiring some of the "lodgers" in his father's aviary in the garden of his home.
