It takes the weight off mankind: A hovercraft trailer called 'Hovertrailer' with a paylead of seven tons has been developed by Air Cushion Equipment company of Southampton, Hants. Use of the trailer will increase the capacity of a tow-vehicle many times and also permit towing ever by hand over soft ground. The trailer is 30 feet long and 8 feet wide, large enough to transport a vehicle if necessary.
