Hovercraft For Noise Test Becomes Waterlogged: A Hovercraft which was to have made tests between Blackfriars and Waterloo, today, to test how much noise it makes and decide whether it can be used on the Thames, became waterlogged, causing the tests to be cancelled. Photo shows (L to R); Engineer High Randall; Dan Reece, (designer), and Driver Graham Fulcher, preparing the hovercraft for the tests, which were eventually cancelled.
